The NHS COVID-19 vaccination is offered seasonally to specific priority groups. Eligibility is determined by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) and typically includes.
If you are not eligible for a free NHS dose, Pendeford Pharmacy also offers a Private COVID-19 Vaccination Service. Please ask our team for more information on private bookings.
You are generally eligible for a free jab if you:
- Adults aged 65 years and over.
- Residents in care homes for older adults.
- Individuals aged 6 months to 64 years with certain health conditions that put them at higher risk (immunosuppressed).

To receive your free NHS vaccine at Pendeford Pharmacy, you must book through the official National Booking System:
- Check Your Eligibility: Visit the NHS website or call 119 to confirm you are eligible for the current seasonal campaign.
- Select our pharmacy: When booking via the NHS website or the NHS App, search for us by name or postcode to secure your local appointment.
- Attend Your Appointment: Please bring your NHS number (if known) to your scheduled time in our private consultation room.
